The Guardian is one of 6 classes in The Iron Oath.

"Armed with a holy conviction, the Guardian is uniquely suited to healing and aiding her allies, though she remains more than capable of punishing her enemies."

The Guardian is a high versatility class that is well suited to multiple roles and several styles of play. Their Dawn ability makes them a strong healer as they are capable of buffing and healing allies several hexes away. They wield a one-handed sword weapon and are capable of equipping a shield in their off-hand, giving them extra protection in close-quarters combat and making them particularly suited to a heavy armor tank role. The Guardian's offensive abilities are capable of inflicting large amounts of holy damage and can burn, blind, or root the target. Their main attributes are Conviction and Insight.

Abilities[ | ]

The Guardian possesses two defensive abilities and four offensive abilities, in addition to their basic attack (which deals holy damage) and their passive ability, Radiance. Each ability that the Guardian uses generates a stack of Radiance - or more, in the case of Dawn's Radiant Dawn augment. Upon receiving 3 stacks of Radiance, a random ally adjacent to the Guardian is cleansed of all negative conditions.

  • Holy Fire - Inflict Burn on target.

Dawn Dawn "Heal a single target. Range of 2." Tier 1:
  • Invigorate - Target gains 10 Speed for 1 round.
  • Radiant Dawn - Generate 2 Radiance stacks from the Guardian's passive ability.

Tier 2:

  • Charge +1 - Gain 1 additional charge for this ability.

HolyBarrage Holy Barrage "Deal damage to 2 targets in a row. Subsequent targets take 15% less damage." Tier 1:

Judgment Judgement "Immediately Root an adjacent target for 1 round, then channel for 5 turns to deal massive damage against them." Tier 1:

  • Hold 'em Down - If the target is Flanked, channel time is reduced by 1 turn.

Tier 2:

  • Channel Speed Up - Reduce channeling time by 1.
